Chauffeur Code of Conduct

At Limousine Australia, every chauffeur representing our brand is expected to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, safety, presentation and client care.

1. Professional Appearance

  • Chauffeurs must wear a clean, well-fitted business suit and dress shoes.
  • Personal grooming must be impeccable, including neat hair, good hygiene and well-groomed facial hair where applicable.
  • Visible tattoos, piercings or accessories must remain discreet and professionally appropriate.

2. Punctuality & Reliability

  • Chauffeurs must arrive at the designated pickup location at least 10 minutes before the scheduled time.
  • Journeys must be planned in advance, considering traffic, road conditions, airport delays and alternative routes.
  • Immediate communication is required if any delay becomes unavoidable.

3. Courtesy & Client Interaction

  • Clients must be greeted warmly, respectfully and professionally.
  • Chauffeurs should open and close doors, assist with luggage and provide umbrellas in wet weather where practical.
  • Conversation should only be continued where welcomed by the client.
  • Client privacy, comfort and confidentiality must always be respected.

4. Driving Standards

  • Chauffeurs must drive safely, smoothly and within all legal speed limits.
  • Harsh braking, rapid acceleration, aggressive driving and unsafe manoeuvres are not acceptable.
  • All traffic laws, road rules and parking regulations must be followed.
  • Passenger comfort and safety must remain the highest priority.

5. Vehicle Presentation

  • A pre-trip inspection must be completed before each assignment.
  • Vehicles must be clean, sanitised, odour-free and professionally presented inside and out.
  • Vehicles should be fully fuelled or adequately charged before service.
  • Climate control, seating and music volume must be adjusted for passenger comfort.

6. Confidentiality

  • All client conversations, travel details and personal information must remain strictly confidential.
  • Chauffeurs must not discuss client matters with anyone outside Limousine Australia.
  • Client names, addresses, destinations and travel arrangements must not be shared publicly or on social media.

7. Substance Policy

  • Limousine Australia maintains zero tolerance for alcohol, illegal drugs or any medication that impairs driving ability.
  • Chauffeurs must be fit for duty at all times.
  • Random checks or testing may be required where applicable.

8. Mobile Phone & Device Usage

  • Mobile phones must not be used while driving unless legally operated through hands-free systems.
  • Personal calls, messages and device use must be limited to before or after assignments.
  • Service-related communication must be safe, brief and comply with road rules.

9. Incident & Accident Reporting

  • Any accident, traffic violation, safety concern, vehicle issue or client complaint must be reported immediately.
  • All required documentation must be completed accurately and promptly.
  • Management must be informed of any issue that may affect service quality, safety or client confidence.

10. Representation of Limousine Australia

Chauffeurs are the face of Limousine Australia and must represent the company’s values of professionalism, integrity, discretion, safety and excellence at all times.

Any breach of this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, suspension of assignments, termination of agreement or employment, depending on the nature and seriousness of the breach.
